Premiere project Oosterlicht

From December 19th to January 6th, every day between 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM, a beam of light will shine kilometers high into the sky from our museum, visible from far and wide. The light beam is part of the Oosterlicht project, an initiative by Silvoldenaar Hans van den Hurk, made possible by the Culture and Heritage Pact Achterhoek. Our museum has been given the honor of being the first in the municipality of Doesburg to participate in this wonderful project, which symbolically connects a total of 23 Achterhoek municipalities. On December 24th, 25th, and 31st, the light spectacle can even be seen until 2:00 AM.
