Please note! Paid parking applies throughout the entire city center. Parking in spaces reserved for permit holders is not allowed, not even with a disabled parking card. With this card, you are allowed to park for free in paid parking spaces. There are also several disabled parking spaces in the city center. Additionally, there is a disabled toilet at De Bleek.
You can enjoy beautiful cycling tours in the surroundings of Doesburg. For example, there is a route of approximately 37 kilometers that follows the (old) IJssel river. Along the way, you will pass through the Hanseatic city of Doesburg, where you will have plenty of time to visit the Lalique Museum. Click here to view this and other cycling and walking routes in the Achterhoek region. Bicycles can be parked at various locations in the city center, including near the museum. During the summer period – from the end of April to the end of September – the shopping streets Kerkstraat (from the market), Meipoortstraat (from Zandbergstraat), and Ooipoortstraat are closed daily to car traffic and cyclists from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The Lalique Museum is easily accessible by public transport. To ensure an optimal journey, we recommend planning your trip via the link below. You should always get off at the Meipoort bus stop. From there, walk into Meipoortstraat towards the city center. At the end of Meipoortstraat, turn right into Kerkstraat. In Kerkstraat, take the second street on the right, which is Gasthuisstraat. You will see the entrance to the museum on the left-hand side.
