Start of corridor construction
Visitors follow a temporary route through the Heerenstraat

The construction of the glass corridor and the new entrance of the Lalique Museum and De Commanderij will begin on August 25. As a result, a new route will apply to all visitors from that date for their visit to the three locations of the Lalique Museum. Whereas visitors would normally walk inside, they will now need to take a short walk outside. Everyone will start their museum visit at Gasthuisstraat 1. Admission tickets can be purchased there and e-tickets will be scanned. Visitors will then view the Chagall exhibition and the Lalique collection at this location. After that, visitors cross the street and continue their museum visit at Gasthuisstraat 8. To reach the third location – De Commanderij, the old knight’s building from 1286 – walk to the right on Gasthuisstraat to the first street on the right, Heerenstraat. After 50 meters – halfway down Heerenstraat – there is a black iron gate. This is the temporary entrance for all Lalique Museum visitors to De Commanderij. So, everyone starts at Gasthuisstraat 1 and can receive a temporary route description. This situation will continue until the grand opening of the Lalique Museum, which will take place in 2026.
