New exhibition

Dear all,

Last Friday, the exhibition “The installation Precious” opened at Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam.

Curator Mrs. A. (Angelique) Westerhof demonstrates how the scents of classic brands such as Chanel, Guerlain, Hermes, Lubin, Patou, and Schiaparelli once became visual images through their collaboration with artists like Salvador Dali, Baccarat, and Lalique.

Using both private and public collections, “Precious” shows the beautiful creations that resulted from the combination of couture and perfume throughout the twentieth century.
