On Saturday, July 2nd, the new exhibition 'Currents & Figures; jewelry and silver from art nouveau to art deco' was officially opened by jewelry historian Martijn Akkerman. This festive occasion took place in the Gasthuiskerk in Doesburg. He did so in the presence of, among others, alderman Birgit van Veldhuizen - Van Oort, art nouveau and art deco expert Frans Leidelmeijer, and the museum's board. The new exhibition has been open to the public since Sunday, July 3rd.
