Marc Chagall, born as Movsha Zakharovich Shagal, was a French painter of Jewish-Belarusian descent.

Chagall developed a very unique style that evokes the feeling of dreams. He drew his inspiration from Russian folk art and everyday life, his memories of his youth, and the role of Judaism in it. I took advantage of a luxury lunch arrangement, as I was visiting with a group. The lunch was overwhelmingly delicious and that’s why I recommend others to visit the museum as well. I especially found it remarkable that I could view the details of René Lalique’s work with a magnifying glass. I recommend this museum not only to art lovers, but also to others, because I guarantee you will have a fantastic day. And then you can also view the works of Chagall.
